What geographic region is served?
Almost everywhere in Rhode Island; nearby Connecticut and Massachusetts communities.Who is eligible for services?
Health Center: Anyone who needs primary medical care, dental care, lab services, radiology services, mental health and substance abuse counseling or case management services.What payment options are available?
Northwest Health Center accepts Aetna, Blue Chip, Blue Cross, Healthmate, Medicare, Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island, United Healthcare, Medical Assistance, and certain others.
The Health Center also has a sliding-scale fee that is based on income and family size.
Can I make a donation?
Northwest gratefully accepts contributions, memorials, bequests and designations through the United Way (#6290). Donations are tax-deductible and are accepted for any of our programs or in memory of a loved one.

How can I volunteer?
The Northwest volunteer program carries on the tradition of friends and neighbors helping each other. If you would like to make a difference in the lives of patients in need of support, consider becoming a Northwest volunteer. The opportunities are as varied as the interests of our volunteers.For example, you could:
